Logo of the Hispanic American Cultural Council (HACC)
Dr. Alfonso Enriquez, a Connecticut pediatrician and the HACC’s first president designed the logo.
The logo displays a shield surrounded by the members’ flags who joined the Council in its founding year (1980): Argentina, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Peru, Puerto Rico, Spain, and the USA.
The shield has a center design of arrows and open links enclosing the organization’s initials, H. A. C. C. The lower arrow, which points towards the shield’s center, represents the unifying effort from the Council. The arrows radiating outward, and the open links represent the Council’s efforts to interact and connect with the communities around us and acquaint them with the richness of our cultures and the uniqueness of our identities.

El Dr. Alfonso Enríquez, un pediatra de Connecticut y el primer presidente de HACC diseñó el logotipo.
El logo muestra un escudo rodeado por las banderas de los miembros que ingresaron al Consejo en su año de fundación (1980): Argentina, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Perú, Puerto Rico, España y Estados Unidos.
El escudo tiene un diseño central de flechas y enlaces abiertos que encierran las iniciales de la organización, H. A. C. C. La flecha inferior, que apunta hacia el centro del escudo, representa el esfuerzo unificador del Consejo. Las flechas que irradian hacia afuera y los enlaces abiertos representan los esfuerzos del Consejo para interactuar y conectarse con las comunidades que nos rodean y familiarizarlas con la riqueza de nuestras culturas y la singularidad de nuestras identidades.
